How soon do I need to arrive before my flight?
The ticket counter opens for check-in about 90 minutes before the flight time. United Airlines does have a 45 minute cut off before the scheduled flight time – regardless of whether or not you are checking luggage. This ensures they have enough time to load passengers and baggage onto the plane.
How many security lines are operated at CYS?
The TSA operates one checkpoint at the airport. The line is fast and the agents are friendly.

I have a disability/medical condition that requestions special equipment, even when I pass through screening. Can I still travel?

Can airport staff book my flight for me?
No. Currently, the United counter at Cheyenne Regional Airport cannot accept cash or book flights for passengers. Passengers must book their own flights through the United website or travel website of their choosing.
Additionally, administration staff at CYS do not have any access to flight or passenger information. Real-time flight information can be found at flightaware.com.
My unaccompanied minor will need to fly on this trip alone. Can I walk them to the gate?
Yes, but you need to coordinate obtaining a boarding pass through the airline your child will be traveling on in order to go through the security screening checkpoint. All persons must be screened — regardless if they will be boarding the plane or note — prior to entering the secured area.
